Local departure by coach, then via ferry on to Isle of Wight and our hotel for three nights.
Today we’ll explore the ‘diamond isle’ on a scenic tour. We’ll call at Alum Bay, famous for its coloured sands, and the nearby magnificent chalks Needles, the remains of a ridge which once joined the island the mainland. We also visit pretty Yarmouth, a bustling town with a natural harbour. We also visit Yarmouth, filled with a range of quaint cafés, shops and galleries and the main square is overlooked by a stunning 17th-century church. Stroll down Yarmouth Pier and enjoy the stunning view. We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous New Year’s Eve Dinner and count down for midnight!

The 3 star Channel View Hotel is in a unique location occupying an elevated cliff-top position overlooking Shanklin bay. The hotel is owned by the Gino family who personally oversee all aspects of this popular hotel. They are justly proud of their reputation for quality with a warm welcome, efficient service, excellent food and attention to detail. The hotel offers entertainment in the evenings in The Alverstone Room which has a large maple sprung dance floor and a well-stocked bar.
