Regional departure by coach, then on to the Royal Hotel, Whitby for three nights.
Today we journey along the North Yorkshire coast to one of Britain's oldest seaside resorts, Scarborough. This popular town offers two sandy beaches, a bustling harbour, an ancient castle and stunning cliff-top views. There is also the beautiful Peasholm Park which is a must for any visitor – and don't forget to take a ride on the oldest cliff tramway in the UK!
Today we enjoy an included excursion, exploring the beautiful North York Moors. We firstly visit one of the area’s prettiest villages, Thornton-le-Dale, with its thatched cottage and village green. A visit to the market town of Pickering follows with its restaurants, cafés and shops. Finally, we visit charming Helmsley, which is considered a picture-perfect Yorkshire market town.
After breakfast today, we journey home.
Please note, that due to the short duration of the tour, a smaller piece of luggage per passenger should be taken as you will be required to carry your own luggage to and from the hotel reception. Your driver will be responsible for moving your luggage to the hotel reception on arrival and from the hotel reception on departure.

Loved Whitby, hotel was clean, food was good and staff were very helpful and friendly. Couldn't face another day in the coach so didn't do the trip the next day but heard from the others that it was a good day. We found enough to do in Whitby. I thought the trip was great value for money and well organised.

The holiday was good but the hotel was tired and needed refurbishing. We were on the top floor and when it rained the walls were damp.
